Board of Directors
The City of Arkadelphia operates under the City Manager form of government. The residents of the City elect a seven member City Board of Directors who appoint the City Manager. Five members of the board are elected by ward. Two of the members are elected at large, one of which is the Mayor position. The Arkadelphia City Board of Directors formally meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month.

Planning Commission\Board of Zoning Adjustment
Nine members appointed to six year terms make up the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustment. The Commission elects a Chairman. Established by Ordinance #147.
Fireman's Pension & Relief Board
Members appointed by Volunteer Fire Department with 2 year term.
Arkadelphia Housing Authority
Five (5) members appointed. Established by resolution dated November 4, 1946 with five (5) year overlapping terms.
Municipal Airport Advisory Committee
Six (6) members appointed for five (5) year terms. Ord. # 0-98-11, June 25, 1998 repealing Ord. #149. One member shall be appointed by HSU Pres. for indeterminate term by will of Board.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee
Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee is comprised of seven (7) members appointed by the Arkadelphia Board of Directors with two (2) year terms. The Committee meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at the Recreation Center (2555 Twin Rivers Drive).
Water and Sewer Committee
Seven members appointed. Committee shall serve at will of the City Board of Directors. Ordinance # O-99-2. Each position is a five year term. Committee elects the Chairmain.

This form is to be filled out and turned into the City Manager's office along with the letter of interest when applying for any Board, Committee, or Commissions.
