Street Department Activities

The Street Department strives to improve, to the best of our ability, the quality of services the city provides for its citizens.  This includes utilizing our Street Department insuring our streets are adequately maintained and improved by planning and installing new roadways, sidewalks, and traffic control improvements.  Some of the regular activities are:

• Traffic Signal Maintenance
• Motor Vehicle Maintenance

Grounds Maintenance

Grounds Maintenance is a division of the Street Department and includes the mowing and upkeep of all the City of Arkadelphia's parks grounds and trail system, as well as the street right-of-ways and other properties the city owns.  The grounds maintenance crew is striving to make Arkadelphia a cleaner more beautiful place for everyone to live.
